About Paul Katz
Councilor, Ward 7

Why did I run for City Council? Simple. Because of a passion to stand up for our community.

I have been a resident of Waltham, both a renter and homeowner, for nearly 25 years. I am married to Sharon Marie Grazioso Katz. Our son, Jacob, attended Stanley Elementary. He was an eighth-grader at McDevitt Middle School when I was elected to office, and is now a student at Waltham High School. I have worked with the Reagle Music Theatre of Waltham for 40 years as a music director, arranger, and conductor. I hold a degree in Economics from Brandeis University. Professionally, I am a marketing leader who has supported the growth of leading startups and established companies. I currently work as a Senior Marketing Manager at Dun & Bradstreet.

I’ve seen what can happen when residents unite to make their voices heard and stand up for what they believe. This is how positive change happens, and this is the passion that ignited my campaign to represent Ward 7 on the Waltham City Council.

Read (a lot) more about my background and events that shaped me here.

For many years Paul has demonstrated a consistent effort to be informed, but more importantly engaged in the matters impacting Waltham and Ward 7 specifically. I believe Paul would first and foremost listen to the voices in our ward and use those conversations to make responsible decisions that protect the interests of Ward 7 residents on the council floor. Paul is a friendly neighbor, a good friend and simply a good person. I will confidently be voting for Paul in November and I hope you will consider giving him your vote as well.

Paul’s knowledge and understanding of both Cedarwood and Waltham is unmatched. My wife and I have learned so much from meeting him casually on the street and chatting. He’s already a valuable part of the community, and the city will benefit from having him as a Councilor.
